Wisuda Mahasiswa

Para mahasiswa-mahasiswi STIE yang sudah menyelesaikan studinya,lulusan STIE Pembangunan rata-rata sanggup berkompetisi dan mendapatkan posisi strategis di lapangan kerja, baik di Swasta maupun dilingkungan Pemerintahan.

Bermula pada tahun 1996, ketika belum ada satu perguruan tinggi ditanjungpinang, Yayasan Pembangunan pendidikan Kejuruan (YPPK) tanjungpinang, berniat membuka sebuah perguruan tinggi ditanjungpinang. Hal ini terinspirasi karena tamatan-tamatan SMEA Pembangunan (sekarang SMK Pembangunan) yang berdiri dibawah Yayasan ini perlu pendidikan kejenjang yang lebih tinggi sebagai tindak lanjut pendidikan, bagi mereka yang tidak mampu melanjutkan pendidikannya keluar daerah. Berdasar itulah maka yayasan sebagai pemrakasa bermaksud membuka Akademi di bidang akuntansi. Rencana ini ternyata mendapat sambutan dan dukungan yang hangat dari kalangan masyarakat, pemerintah maupun Anggota Legislatif, dengan harapan anak-anak tamatan SLTA sederajat tidak perlu susah-susah untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya keluar daerah, jika ditanjungpinang sudah berdiri sebuah perguruan tinggi.
